Parasol Island: Masters of Masterfile

mastefile.jpg

Parasol Island wrangled over 5,000 photos to create this epic promo for stock photo company Masterfile’s European launch. Parasol Island did a masterful (sorry, couldn’t resist) job switching back and forth between the two aesthetic modes while building a sense of abundance throughout the piece.

Oh, and Parasol Island won a gold for this piece at the London International Awards. Congrats, guys!

This is amazing. It’s been a while since such a long project like that has had the Sound Design, and the visuals go so well together. It’s perfect. I didn’t hear one sound effect that is usually used with car commercials (like the big bay door closing sound effect that you hear over and over). This reminds me at parts of pleix mixed with buck mixed with mk12. Pretty sick piece/transitions/compositions. I loved it.
