Poke Creates a Never Ending Site for Orange

With this new site for Orange, London-based interactive studio Poke successfully created a lightly interactive experience that had me happily wasting about ten minutes of my life scrolling down the page.

Using a Geoff McFetridge-esque illustration style and some whimsical sound design, the site is really about featuring lovable character animation and a smattering of bite-sized interactive widget type things. It’s kind of a counter-example to all my ramblings about high-end motion graphics making its way to interactive platforms. Sometimes simple and fun does the trick, too.

UPDATE:I’ve just been informed that the insanely talented Rex Crowle did all the design and animation for this project.
