Blur Does Marvel

ironman.jpg

Blur does many things well, but high-end cinematic CG has always been their hallmark. They’ve put those powers to use recently for a series of web shorts introducing Marvel’s Ironman. Currently, only the first of three installments is online. Future episodes are forthcoming, hopefully at higher resolutions than the current YouTube-ish format.

(As an aside, Blur’s always been pretty comfortable working in the uncanny valley, but I’m most comfortable when characters have masks or helmets on. Maybe little kids don’t care, but the zombie stare of photorealistic humanoids still creeps me out.)
