ManvsMachine: “Space”

Better late than never, I always say. This beautiful brand piece from Man vs. Machine made the rounds last week, but we were a little busy, so we missed the boat. It deserves repeat viewing, though.

Although the subject matter is architectural space, ManvsMachine’s approach eschewed architectural clichés. By using textures found in contemporary housing, they were able to evoke the idea of space without actually portraying it. Viewers, in other words, create their own imagined (and idealized) spaces using the visual queues supplied.

Radium‘s elegant soundtrack and sound design deepen the calming, svelt aesthetic that ManvsMachine crafted.

This is a spot I wish I could call my own. I love the clever approach and the eye candy.
