Psyop Sprints to the End Zone

NOTE: This project was Originally posted on October 3rd, but was removed at the agency’s request. It has now been officially released.

Psyop’s latest work for Sprint and agency Goodby, Silverstein + Partners is a magical marvel of miniaturization. By faking an extremely shallow depth of field and paying attention to the finest of details, Psyop managed to create a believable football stadium—at the scale of a mobile phone.

The addition of the Goliath-sized human onlookers was a clever and well-executed idea that brings a little human warmth to the spot. Nicely done by all involved!

I love this piece – just saw it on the tube the other day.

Nice work!

This caught my attention on tv, but I am really surprised to find it’s Pysop. It kind of lacks imagination that I normally associate with them; doesnt really raise the bar of your average cellphone commercial.

Brett1

It’s not about raising the bar anymore but about pleasing their stockholders :))

Reminds me of Stylewar’s Kaiser Chief video both in look and the stop-mo construction animation direction. Nice though.

that fat guy at the end, man, they must have been struggling with him. i mean i know it’s hard to act with cg elements but come on already!

staring at a fake stadium for 1 second is not acting. He is fine, there is nothing wrong with his “acting”.

psyop did a good job on this one, looks good.

역시 PSYOP
저 아이디어는 어디서나오는지..^^

Why was it asked to be taken down, as I know that I saw it on television between the first Motionographer post, and now?

Shanetm

The tilt focus, my most favorite of all looks. I love this.
