Kinda shocked they are asking a 20 dollar entry fee. I would urge filmmakers to boycott this. It’s outrageous that Vimeo ask for money to gain essentially free content. I did like the trailer though.

I don’t like the $20 but it doesn’t seem too outrageous. I’m not sure how much revenue Vimeo does or doesn’t pull in, but its really the only artist-centric video site out there. They only charge $20 for Vimeo standard users, the pro and plus people get in for $5. As a confessed Vimeo freeloader, if i were to enter I’d be fine pitching in $20 for the sake of the site overall. Vimeo isn’t a nonprofit.
