LA AIGA presents The Pentagram Papers

The Los Angeles chapter of AIGA, the professional association of design, will be hosting an open-to-the-public event on Thursday, March 15th at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

Kit Hinrichs, partner of iconographic design firm Pentagram, will shed light on The Pentagram Papers, a once secretive 36-volume book series that Pentagram has been publishing in-house since 1975. Chronicle Books recently released a hardback volume of all 36 papers, titled The Pentagram Papers.

Hinrichs, who also designed the book, will discuss the origins and history of the papers, and demystify some of the urban legends that surround this series.
