Off to Lalaland

Josie’s Lalaland is an evocative and quite powerful short film by EB Hu, a designer and animator in London. Beyond the moving narration and soundtrack is a truly gorgeous animation that effectively creates a haunting and mysterious mood. It’s a dreamy piece, full of wonder and longing. We do really like to be able to showcase non-commercial work here on Motionographer because we believe in the potential that motion graphics has to communicate beyond selling product and promoting new entertainment (… not that there’s anything wrong with that). It’s just that there are many many bigger concerns to reach for. This film is one eloquently made example of that.
