Khoda

For their graduation project at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, students Reza Dolatabadi and Adam Thomson created Khoda, an impressive and surrealistic animated short.

The piece was inspired by a simple idea: “What if you watched a film and every time you paused it, you faced a painting?”

According to Reza:

Over 6000 paintings were painstakingly produced during two years to create the five minute short, that would meet high personal standards. Khoda is a psychological thriller; a student project which was seen as a ‘mission impossible’ by many people but eventually proved possible!

Possible indeed.
