More than ever, during these times of physical isolation, the Motion Awards team feels a social responsibility to our global online community. We aim to shine a light on creative authenticity and bring our energies together to celebrate all the love, dedication and straight-up hard work that goes into every inspiring submission.
New in 2020
There was a notable baton passing from Olney Atwell (executive producer/ creative magic maker), who played a significant role in developing The Motion Awards platform. It is with great respect and honor that I take over as Director of The Motion Awards and commit to it full throttle. I am dedicated to upholding the prestigious awards platform established and look forward to developing our global stage. The Motion Awards would not exist
If Carlos El Asmar didn’t get frustrated with the status quo Award programs that failed to recognize the full spectrum of motion design. He got tired of having only 2 categories to submit his team’s amazing work. He haggled with the Emmys to no avail and took matters into his own hands by launching the first Motion Awards in 2016. Thank you Carlos for your championing efforts and dedication on developing an Awards platform that brings so much inspiration to the motion community and keeps us passionate and celebrating the work we love!
