PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Stranded on a distant planet, a lonely astronaut sends out a signal in search of human contact.

This was my graduation film from Kingston School of Art. The film was inspired by my personal experience of being in a long distance relationship, and the feelings of loneliness and longing that come with it. It took six months to make, largely by myself with some help with the script and design, along with collaborating with Ambrose Yu who did the sound and music.

The film has been screened at the following festivals so far this year:
Womanimation, USA

Animation Block Party, Brooklyn

Klik Amsterdam Animation Festival

OFFLine Film Festival, Ireland

St. Louis International Film Festival, USA

Flickers’ VORTEX Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Film Festival, USA

Cardiff International Film Festival, UK

Milano Film festival, Italy

Crystal Palace International Film Festival, London, UK

Manchester Animation Festival, UK

Underwire Festival, London, UK

Animae Caribe, Trinidad and Tobago

Animage, Brazil

Two Short Nights Film Festival, Exeter, UK

London International Animation Festival
