Guilherme Marcondes: Tyger

Inspired by William Blake’s “The Tyger,” Guilherme Marcondes’ new short film, “Tyger,” is a truly wild trip (yes, that pun was intended). A pastiche of puppetry and various animation styles, “Tyger” moves lockstep with its thunderous, tribal soundtrack and weaves a strange, dreamlike narrative that feels a little omninous, a little foreboding.

By the way, Guilherme has updated his site with some new work. (Well, the work isn’t that new, but the fact that he posted them on his site is.)
