Well, the guy in the making off video is explaining it, a mix of different software but the liquid effects was done in 3dstudioMax with Krakatoa, some animation was done in XSI, and the compositing is shown and that’s clearly AE.

Transitions are not that perfect imo, but shot itself was totally worth seeing, beautiful work.
