End Scene is a nice minimal music video for Troels Abrahamsen. The animation work was made in Adobe After Effects. Each frame was then printed and the print was subsequently scanned back into the computer. (via Blogadee)

That’s a lot of quality time with your printer and scanner!

i know everyone is totally into stop motion and hand made stuff these days and god forbid you use the computer, but seriously.. go through ALL this extra length just to get something that looks like it was done with 2 after effects plugins ?
oh well.. students will love it probably.

I agree with ocelot, the impressiveness lies in the process and not in the final piece, which in my opinion, was interesting to watch for the first 2 seconds.
I was left waiting for something bigger or different to happen, but if never did.

Fantastic animating, but like most music videos, a narrative would help get you through all 4minutes. This as a backdrop during a live performance would be great though.

as it’s been said, the process is really interesting!
but for my own, i loved the final result. i was enjoying it before reading how it was made.

of course, it is a trendy method to achieve the job, but why not! if you had the time to do it, well i’m glad you did!

I’ve always wanted to use a similar process, except I wanted it to be with polaroid transfers. Of course I never found the time!
