Veteran animator Carlos Baena (The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Wall-E) teamed up with producer Sasha Korellis to launch an ambitious crowdfunding campaign for their short film, La Noria.
We don’t often post crowdfunding projects, but La Noria looks jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Described as an “animated horror film,” it seems less about creepy monsters and more about psychological demons.
According to the Indiegogo page:
It’s about a little boy who likes to draw and build toy ferris wheels who after a devastating loss encounters some creatures who turn his life upside down… Creatively, we wanted to create a horror film that creates tension through horror rather than making people jump.
