The title says it all!
Punanimation, the inspiring and forward-thinking directory started in 2015 by Bee Grandinetti, Hedvig Ahlberg and Linn Fritz, is now Panimation.
From the creators:
Promoting gender diversity in the animation and motion industry has always been our main goal. And a value that has always been in our core is dialogue: being open to listen, discuss, review, change and reinvent ourselves whenever needed.
Punanimation has been fun, sassy and it served us very well in our early days when our efforts were more focused on cis-gender women. But as we grew as humans, we also became more and more certain we wanted to welcome trans and non-binary people in our gang just as much.
We’re excited to wrap this first happy chapter and celebrate our new name with everyone! :)
