OOY Submissions now open

Since 2006, Motionographer.com has been the leading destination for all things Motion Design, not just because of us, but because of you. We have always counted on our beloved network to collaborate and contribute to the ecosystem of our industry.

Working together as a community, we have consistently been able to push the boundaries of where this artform can take us, beyond anything we could have imagined when it all began. In announcing our latest endeavor, we wish to strengthen this sentiment even further.

It is Our Community. Our Platform. Your Voice.

OOY will spotlight the attention on YOU like never before. YOU the brilliant creative mind that operates across the whole spectrum of Motion Design. I fell in love with 3D and Motion Design when I was 12 years old. And you constantly make me feel in love over and over again. So we are opening up Motionographer like never before, giving everyone the opportunity to collaborate in raising the bar in our field. And selfishly make me relive my love.

Perhaps you have some ideas you want to share with the industry? Or some frustrations that need airing? Or maybe you have some sound advice to give aspiring designers? Hell, it could just be that you want to be more involved with the community. Whatever it is, now is the time.

We are calling for your article ideas. Let us know what you want to write about and why.

Not a writer? Fear not! We’re here to help.

Most of us are designers, not writers, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have just as much to say!

Our creative writing team is here to make sure whatever you want to talk about is translated into a killer article.

I hope OOY gives some of you the chance you’ve been craving; to give back to the industry we all love so much. We look forward to helping you express your ideas to a community that is ready and waiting.

With mucho love,

Carlos El Asmar

Co-founder and CEO

Editor’s note: If you’re interested in taking part, please make sure you read the below.

You don’t need to provide us with a finished article as we are happy working on proposals at this stage. Once we receive your wonderful ideas, we will contact you to develop them into a full piece. You will then be given further direction, and an appropriate word count. Should you already have a finished article you like to publish, you can also send them through.

It is important to note that we cannot take any articles or proposals via email, and we will not be able to respond to emails if this is how you submit your ideas. Should you wish to take part, please head over to the submissions page; this is specifically designed to make sure we all have the opportunity to read all submissions in the most efficient way possible. You will also see a full list of the criteria needed. This is your industry, your community, and it is your platform.
