Owen is an acclaimed creative editor known worldwide for her bold style, her total commitment to storytelling excellence, and her solid relationships with world-leading creatives that span the globe. Born and raised in the UK before making New York City her home, over the past decade, Kate has successfully partnered with many of the industry’s highest-profile editorial houses.
Serving as lead editor on locations and in premier post facilities, Kate has edited a stunning array of projects, ranging from fashion and beauty to lifestyle and entertainment. Alongside iconic directors and creatives from top-tier agencies including Mother, Saatchi & Saatchi, Dentsu, Grey Worldwide, VMLY&R, Argonaut, RGA, Futura, BBDO, and many others, Kate’s credits span cutting-edge projects for Bose, Estee Lauder, Gucci, Hourglass, Clinique, Maybelline, Victoria Beckham, Vogue, Adidas, Sony, Showtime, Virgin Atlantic, and countless others.
The recipient of industry accolades from BTAA, The One Show, D&AD, a Gold Cannes Lion, and Best Editing honors at the 2023 Artists Forum Festival of the Moving Image, Kate served as Editing Jury President for the 2020 D&AD Awards, and as a judge for the AICP Awards multiple times. In the film world, Kate’s extensive work includes numerous award-winning short- and long-form projects from emerging and established filmmakers.
