Joaquín Urbina and Ana Gale are the duo behind Dedo Ciego, known for their work in animation and design. Their studio specializes in merging handcrafted and digital techniques to create visually impactful works that convey strong concepts, earning acclaim from critics and the public alike throughout their careers.
In this opportunity, they bring to OFFF Sevilla a workshop on experimenting with graphic sound, where you’ll learn this technique directly under their guidance.
This Dedo Ciego’s workshop focuses on creating visual rhythms using physical materials animated through analog processes.
Participants will learn how to generate movement from static images, exploring the concept of error and “graphic accidents” to create intuitive, manual, and organic loops. These animations will interact in perfect sync with music or sound, offering a unique and immersive creative experience.
Date: Thursday, November 28th. 16:00 PM – 20:00 PM Location:
Real Fábrica de Artillería de Sevilla (Av. Eduardo Dato, 58, 41018 Sevilla).
The workshop will be held in Spanish.
