Lobo has updated their site with new work, including a self-produced monograph, “Silkmag,” featuring non-commercial work.
It’s interesting to see how Lobo’s work has changed in the last year or so. The newer work is more textural, a little looser. Some of it, like the Videobrasil opener, borders on experimental.
Lobo’s still rocking their animation skills, though. The Mixbrasil opener (someone needs to help Brazil come up with more creative festival names) is a surprisingly humorous bit of storytelling, and as I’ve said before, I’m a big fan of the Target work.
