Welcome to Motionographer’s refreshed look. There’s still plenty of work to be done, but it’s time we went ahead and pushed this baby out. Some of the new features include:

  • Two new content categories: Students and Industry
  • RSS feeds for each category (see the left sidebar)
  • The Motionographer Forum (which has taken the place of comments to allow for more robust conversations)
  • A new Cream O’ the Crop (to be launched next week)

I didn’t want to radically reconfigure the site. It’s still the same ol’ Motionographer, just with a few more features that people have been asking for. If you have ideas or suggestions, why not put them in the new Feedback forum? That way everyone can chime in together.

If you run across bugs, please let me know, and I’ll squash ’em as quickly as I can.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone—the contributors, the readers and the sponsors—for keeping Motionographer alive. I’m not trying to get rich here. I do this because I genuinely love motion graphics, design and filmmaking. It’s not a business, it’s a vocation. It’s what gets me out of bed every morning.

So thank you, everyone. Enjoy the new site!
