But what`s the difference to zbornToy or Normality (which, btw, comes for free)

maltaannon

zbornToy is not free. Normality is, however it’s a totally different tool, just like zbornToy. Normality is a relighting solution, and zbornToy is a rendering engine. My Youveelizer takes advantage of UV maps for retexturing your objects, and normal maps for adding reflections, light and environment to your 3d rendered objects. The only alternative to my plugin is RE:Map UV from RevisionFX. It’s a great plugin, however it costs 120USD than mine, not to mention mine has some additional features. Make sure to watch the introduction tutorial to see how different my Youveelizer is from zbornToy and Normality. More tutorials and case studies on Youveelizer soon. Happy AfterEffecting.

My pleasure. I’m always doing my best. Here’s a discount code for all loyal Motionographer and Maltaannon.com viewers. Valid until August 14th. Discount value: 9.90USD. Discount code: uvMograph. Enjoy!

P.S.: thanks for pointing out the differences!

And to add – your tutorials are really, really good – I`m still impressed about the old “radar” tut where you did everything (everything!) in afx, incl. the sound. Kudos!

Pretty cool plugin. Could save some time with it.
Pricing is right on, and thank you for the discount code.

Thanks for all the comments. The plugin was born from my need to have such a tool, so I did everything I could to make it a useful thing. I’m currently working on a project where I’ll use Normality along with my Youveelizer to completly replace VRay rendering from 3D Studio Max and move it to After Effects. When I’m done I’ll post a tutorial about it. In the meanwhile it would be great if you could leave some comments on my site or even post some movies on my Facebook Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/maltaannoncom/54728949485) where you used the plugin.

Thanks again. Happy AfterEffecting.

great plugin. I have re:map and normality and love the flexibility they add. you took it one further by rolling them into one and even lowered the price. kudos!
