yep.  art direction is beautiful, but the whole thing is let down by the stilted, straight-to-video animation.  if you’re gonna play in the same box as Disney, you’ve got to be better than their cheap Korean knock-off counterparts.

I don’t find the art direction that appealing either. I know some of the people who worked on it though and their work is usually top notch. The ‘give me my fucking money’ shot is so underanimated that my guess is there was not much time / budget to get this done. It’s for a festival, they might not have had the resources someone like coke or comcast have.

it won’t play all the way through for me…. looks like disney has already crushed it somehow.
