No more clueless clients, please.

Thanks to Cub Studio’s “7 Steps to Animation,” the process from brief to delivery can be understood by all. Finally, we won’t need awkward conversations about change orders. Right?

Ha! I love it. And I especially love how the invisible Step 8 – Revisions – isn’t even included. Sigh, we can dream, right?

Sadly, I doubt a single client will pay attention to that video.

These type of videos are purely for other designers to chuckle at.

They will watch, maybe, a few seconds at best… and even if they do, they won’t be taking any notes. They won’t remember. And they sure as hell won’t care. They’ll say, how cute though!

Clients are lazy and expect Designers and Animators to figure all this out. They just want to see it and will…know it when they see it.

I think the video is neat. But, as a caveat, posting it on their site might make them look even more like a factory.

99% of clients would have revision notes based on this video.

Yet another amazing studio, nonetheless.

I often say half-jokingly that design is great, except for the clients.

I do think this project was just a clever way to let off some steam and have a little fun within the community of designers/animators. Likewise, my intro text was written with my tongue lodged firmly in my cheek.
