LoopDeLoop is a popular bi-monthly animation challenge, in which animators from around the world create looping animations based on a given theme and upload them to www.loopdeloop.org.
At the end of every second month, the top 100 loops are compiled and screened to a live audience in various cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Los Angeles — and now London, hosted by Animade.
This LoopDeLoop is a special collaboration with Amnesty International, a global movement of more than seven million people who take injustice personally. They campaign for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all. The theme for April/May is Empathy, anticipating Refugee Week which takes place every year from 14 June until World Refugee Day, on 20 June.
LoopDeLoop is currently accepting submissions. The London screening will be held at Cafe 1001, 91 Brick Lane, at 8pm on Wednesday 27 May 2015. Free entry and open to all.
