Animation and interactive design studio Animade is once again hosting LoopdeLoop – an international, community-picked animation screening.
Following the fantastic success of London’s “Empathy”-themed debut event in May, this round will be exploring the idea of “Ritual.”
What is LoopdeLoop?
LoopdeLoop is a popular bi-monthly challenge in which animators from around the world create looping animations based on a given theme and upload them to www.loopdeloop.org for viewers to rate. At the end of every second month, the voters’ favourite loops are compiled and screened to live audiences in Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Los Angeles, New York and London, where votes take place for a local winner.
Entries are flooding in for this theme, and you can take a peek at the weird and wonderful creations to date – and perhaps cast your vote – on the LoopdeLoop site.

Screening Details
The London screening will be held at Cafe 1001, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL on Wednesday 5 August, from 7.30pm. It’s free entry and everyone is welcome!
