Gabriel Gareso

Gabriel Gareso’s story is one worth sharing, if only to encourage those of you out there who are looking for a push into the wonderful world of motion design.

After working as a web designer for more than five years, he decided to attend a 10-month intensive course Motion Graphics and Visual Effects at Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand.

In celebration of completing the course, Gabriel has relaunched his web presence. Obviously, Gabriel’s a super talented, hard-working guy (we’ve posted his MTV Birds project above before), but the real reason I’m making such a big deal about him is because I believe it’s never too late to pursue your passion.

Even if you can’t go back to school, start making stuff. Now. Don’t worry about finishing. Just start. The rest will follow. I promise.

“I believe it’s never too late to pursue your passion.”

That’s a little over the top, isn’t it? The guy is only 26 years old!

Sure, but I did the same thing at 29, so I guess I’m a little sensitive to it. Especially since in mograph years, 26 is like 45. ;-)

The point is that even after working in one field (for however long), it’s never too late to jump ship. Try to focus on the positive, man.

There isn’t such a thing like “age issues” when your we are talking about pursuing your dreams.

It doesn’t matter WHEN you do it, because when you do find your passion, you’re gonna be way beyond the others, like this guy GARESO.

We can see his talent and we can make any bet that he’s that type of professional with some God’s Gift. Hard Worker and dedicated designer!
Congrats, Gabriel!!! Keep “movin’ on”
