This may be presumptuous, but I assume that a company paying a 3D animator $50/day is not going to shell out thousands for legit software seats. If that’s the case, I wonder if software companies will step up and try to regulate hollywood.

$500 / month divided by 20 working days = $25/ day. Or is my math wrong?

I’d divide that by 30. Most of those guys seem to be working 6 or 7 days a week. That’s just under $17 a day. Sad.
