Assembly’s VR museum exhibit brings an interactive humpback whale to life

New Zealand-based Assembly put their budding Unreal Engine skills to test and built a virtual reality museum experience for the Oculus Rift.

If you have an Oculus DK2 kit handy and a Windows PC, you can download the demo from Assembly’s site. (No VR rig? The walkthrough video above will have to suffice.) In the full-blown VR version, the user can control and interact with the whale using keyboard commands.
