I love how MK12 goes under the radar, then out of nowhere, reminds how awesome they are. The Virtual Boy track is sick. Can’t find it on any of their albums though…

It’s a great sequence and MK12 are stills kings of design and animation – but as an Australian I do wish SP would use local talent for local productions. Same goes for all design conferences and award shows. Use a Sydney studio for the Sydney conference, a Melbourne Studio for the Melbourne one, an NZ studio… you get the idea. And maybe use a variety of established names and also up-and-comers?

Ive no idea why we still think that title sequences should all look as if they’re in the bottom of a dirty pond. Another one to make tadpoles happy. And it really is about time we moved on from designing with plugins

a bit harsh?

Thanks Tony — tadpoles are our key demographic, as frogs are too jaded.

Also, save for coloring, no plugins used.

Seeing as your in on the discussion how much did your company recieve for the job MK12? Much love – openess among artists please :)

The Semi guys were good enough to cover the shoot; high speed photography is a specialized field, so it’s not something we can do in-house. But otherwise a labor of love project.

MK12 are incredible. Keep up the brilliant work!
